Kanye-cott : You have GOT to be kidding me

A radio station in Florida had completely stopped playing Kanye West's music due to his bad behavior on Sunday. Are you freaking kidding me? This is ridiculous. Kanye West is a hip-hop innovator, even if he often lacks tact. He can be a prick, but what celebrity isn't? Kanye hurt a teeny-popper's feelings, and what he did was wrong. He admitted that, he apologized, and he wants to apologize to T. Swift personally. Let's get over this already! Okay, okay, let's give it a week at least. Boycotting the violent Chris Brown was one thing--he is a talented kid, but violence is never okay. Boycotting Kanye West because he did something completely rude on national television? That's just STUPID.

Perez reports:

Looks like Donald Trump isn't the only one who thinks people should boycott Kanye West for his behavior on Sunday night's 2009 MTV VMAs.

Turns out radio stations are dropping Kanye too!

In fact, Kiss 95.1 in Florida has dropped all Kanye music from their playlist.

The station's program director, Mike Klein, decided to pull all of Kanye's music off the air after he disrespected cutie Taylor Swift while she was accepted her award.

And the station is now asking its listeners if they should keep the boycott or allow his music to play.

They're even having people go and vote online.

Ugh. This is getting out of hand and so tired after only two days! How about we save the torches and pitchforks for those who really deserve it. Kanye's music is my crack...you couldn't pay me to stop listening to "Stronger." In fact, here's the video.

What I'm wondering is why Kanye is getting so much press when Patrick Swayze just died. :( That event doesn't even come up on people.com's Top 5 most read stories this week. It's awful!

RIP Patrick.
